Work begins on the road to Corbu.
Mayor of Navodari, Florin Chelaru, signed the EXECUTION contract for the rehabilitation and modernization of the road to Corbu, the Midia-Năvodari Industrial Platform, an access road to the north of Constanţa County and the Danube Delta.
The contracting company is already working on the design side, and next month the machines will be brought in and work will begin.
The road will be rehabilitated and modernized on 4 lanes, at a length of 3840 m. Along the rehabilitated road will be provided new steps and new sidewalks and will be rebuilt the pluvial water collecting system.
There will be two-way bicycle tracks with a length of 7020 m, of which 3840 m are located parallel to the rehabilitated boulevard and the other 3180 m are arranged on the streets of Constanta, Randunelelor and Albinelor.
At the same time, 36 modern multimodal bus stations with bicycle parking and information panels will be installed in the city of Navodari.
The total value of the investment is 7,896,727.80 euros. The investment is financed by community funds, within the Interreg V-A Romania-Bulgaria Program.
